Hampshire Farmers' Market with Year 6
As part of Emsworth Food Fortnight our Year 6 children have had visitors from the Hampshire Farmers’ Market. They learnt about how much of our food is sourced and what produce is local to Emsworth and Hampshire. Reef Hawthorne thought the goat’s cheese was horrible but Molly Burns loved it! Everyone liked the carrot and apple juice and seeing it pressed and the smoked rainbow trout was very popular with all, especially Matthew Cooper! Kayleigh Garrett said she had heard of fennel but didn’t know what it looked like. Thank you for very much to Hampshire Farmers’ Market for an informative and tasty morning. Miss George and our choir are singing in Emsworth square at 1130am on Sunday as part of the Harvest Festival celebrations.
